Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking through our website. Le Foyer guarantees the lowest room rates available on www.hlefoyer.com. By booking through this website or any authorized travel agency, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Note: In the event of any discrepancies or misunderstandings, the Spanish version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
1. Reservations
Reservations can be made online, by OTAs (booking.com, expedia.com, hostelworld.com, etc.), via email (reservas@hlefoyer.com), over the phone (+51 54 286473), via WhatsApp (+51 962 345 081, +51 973 351 108, +51 958 747 745), or in person at our reception.
Reservations are strictly for the use of the person(s) booking and their guests. Resale, advertising, or marketing of reservations through third-party websites or any other means, as well as false, fraudulent, or speculative bookings, are prohibited. We do not accept bookings made by housing associations.
If you need to book on behalf of other guests through a third party or agency, please do so directly through our reception.
Note: Changes to guest names on reservations are not permitted unless our booking team approves them under exceptional circumstances. We reserve the right to refuse check-in if the guest's name differs from the name on the reservation.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify any reservation at our discretion without notice if we suspect it violates these terms or involves any abuse of our reservation service.
Rates do not include taxes. We offer three rate options: Flexible, Standard, and Non-Refundable. Each rate type can be selected with or without breakfast. Please choose your preferred tier when booking.
Special conditions apply to groups exceeding 40 people. Please get in touch with us for more information.
Note: A stay at Le Foyer cannot exceed 30 nights. After this period, unless approved by management, a six-month interval is required before making a new booking.
2. Group Bookings
A group consists of 12 or more people. If you have booked a group and have not yet contacted us, please email reservas@hlefoyer.com to confirm your booking. If your group was not booked directly with us, we cannot guarantee room availability for all members of your group. Special terms and conditions apply to group bookings—please get in touch with us for details.
3. Age Restrictions and Minor Protection Policy
Guests under 18 must stay in private rooms and be accompanied by an adult over 18. Bookings for guests under 18 must be made with an accompanying adult.
Le Foyer adheres strictly to the Code of Conduct Against the Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA—Explotación Sexual de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes) and is committed to protecting minors. We do not tolerate any form of sexual exploitation or abuse of minors. Any suspicious activity or violation of this policy will be reported immediately to the local authorities. Guests must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the protection of minors.
4. Payment
For any reservation made through our website, a 100% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is refundable according to the cancellation policies or the rate selected by the guest.
Any remaining balance must be paid upon check-in. We accept cash (PEN and USD) and most credit/debit cards, subject to a 5% fee. A credit card is required at check-in as a security deposit for any potential damage during your stay.
Note: If you are paying for someone else’s stay and will not be present at check-in, please notify us via email at reservas@hlefoyer.com.

If you arrive earlier, you may store your luggage with us. Our reception team will be happy to recommend nearby coffee shops and breakfast spots.
Our reception is open 24/7, so late arrivals are welcome. However, if you plan to arrive after midnight, please inform us in advance so that your booking is not canceled.
Late Check-Out: If available, late check-out until 6:00 PM incurs a fee of 50% of the daily rate. After this time, an additional night's stay will be charged, subject to availability. You are welcome to relax in our lounge area after check-out if you'd like to stay a bit longer—this is at the discretion of the reception.
6. Keys
You’ll be given a key when you check in, which provides access to your room. If you lose your key, a fee of S/.25 will be charged to your account. Additionally, please remember to leave your key at the reception when you leave the hotel or check out.
7. Property and Cancellation Policies
Standard Rate:
Fully refundable up to 7 days before check-in. Cancellations must be made via email to reservas@hlefoyer.com. If you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, the entire booking amount will be charged. In the case of no-shows, the total amount of the booking will be charged.
Flexible Rate:
Fully refundable up to 1 day before check-in. Cancellations must be made via email to reservas@hlefoyer.com. If you cancel less than 1 day before check-in, the entire booking amount will be charged. In the case of no-shows, the total amount of the booking will be charged.
Non-Refundable Rate:
This rate is non-refundable and non-modifiable. The booking must be paid in advance and cannot be cancelled or modified for any reason. Please ensure you have travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes.
8. Changes / Cancellation Conditions
Changes to your reservation can be made until 12:00 PM the day before your arrival. After this time, no changes can be made. To change your booking dates or cancel your reservation, please get in touch with our reservation team at reservas@hlefoyer.com or +51 54 286473. Date changes are subject to availability, and rate differences may apply.
If you booked through another website, changes must be made directly with that agent, and cancellation policies may vary.
All booking cancellations made through this website must be emailed directly to reservas@hlefoyer.com. Depending on the rate conditions, cancellations are free of charge. For example, in the case of the Standard Rate, a cancellation made at least 7 days before the arrival day is free. Cancellations made 7 days or less before check-in will result in a charge for the full booking amount.
Please note that deposit fees paid to third-party platforms like Hostelworld, Hostelbookers, Hostelclub, and Expedia are non-refundable.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and credited to the same card used at the time of booking within 30 calendar days of the refund request.
9. No Show
If you fail to arrive for your stay, you will be charged the total reservation amount, and the remaining nights of your booking will be cancelled. Please get in touch with us if you would like to retain the remaining nights in case you arrive the following day.
10. Damages and Losses
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss to the property during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, missing towels, broken lamps, or linens damaged by cigarettes. The cost of replacement or repair will be charged to the guest’s credit card on file. Specific charges are as follows:
Missing or damaged towel: S/.200 per unit.
Broken lamp: S/.250 per unit.
Cigarette-damaged linen: S/.220 per unit.
Other items: Charges will be assessed based on the replacement or repair cost.
We encourage all guests to report any damages immediately to avoid misunderstandings.
11. Respectful Conduct Towards Staff
We expect all guests to treat our staff with respect. Any form of mistreatment, including shouting, insulting, name-calling, rude behaviour, or discrimination, will not be tolerated. In such cases, Le Foyer reserves the right to cancel the guest’s reservation without a refund, and the guest may be asked to leave the premises immediately.
Our team is here to ensure your pleasant stay, and we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a positive environment for everyone.
12. Hotel Rules
All rooms at Le Foyer are 100% smoke-free. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. If smoking occurs inside a room, a cleaning fee of S/.200 will be charged, and the guest will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Guests are expected to behave reasonably and respectfully without disturbing others. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the premises, in which case any outstanding charges will become immediately payable, and any remaining time or nights will be cancelled without a refund.
Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety, or security of others will be asked to leave the hotel, in which case any outstanding charges will become immediately payable, and any remaining time or nights will be cancelled without a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, and property. Any damage or loss caused will be the guest’s responsibility.
13. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings at all times. Le Foyer is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ property, regardless of how it occurs. We strongly recommend using our free safe deposit service for valuables.
14. Lost and Found
Any items left behind by guests will be kept in our Lost and Found for 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded. Please get in touch with reception if you believe you have left something behind.
15. Noise Policy
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please be considerate of other guests by keeping noise levels to a minimum during this time.
16. Shared Spaces
We ask guests to be considerate when using shared spaces such as the dining tables, lounge and sofas, common areas, and the lobby. Please clean up after yourself and respect the space and time of other guests.
17. Data Protection and Privacy
Le Foyer is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our guests' personal information. We comply with all relevant data protection regulations. Any personal information collected during the booking process or your stay will be used solely to process your booking and provide you with the services you have requested. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to fulfil your booking or as required by law.
